Iran Touring and Tourism Investment Company

Iran Touring and Tourism Investment Company (ITTIC) was established in 2000 (1379 in the Iranian calendar) as part of a government-approved initiative to reorganize and develop tourism and hospitality assets in Iran.

Under a decision issued by the Special Representatives of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ownership rights and interests associated with certain assets of the former Iran Touring and Tourism Organization were to be transferred in equal shares to the Civil Servants Pension Fund and the Social Security Organization.

These assets included properties, land, accommodation facilities, restaurants, recreational and sports complexes, equipment, and related rights and obligations, as well as the organization’s shares in Iran Guesthouse Development Company.

ITTIC was established to manage, develop, and optimize these tourism assets while strengthening the country’s hospitality infrastructure and expanding access to travel and recreational services.

Main Areas of Activity

The company’s principal activities include:

  • Providing administrative, financial, operational, and management services for tourism and hospitality facilities.
  • Planning, constructing, acquiring, leasing, operating, selling, and maintaining hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other tourism-related properties.
  • Promoting domestic tourism and attracting international visitors to Iran.
  • Organizing domestic and international tours, including specialized travel programs for civil service retirees.
  • Developing, constructing, and operating urban and intercity restaurants and hospitality facilities.
  • Attracting domestic and foreign investment and establishing strategic partnerships in the tourism sector.

Development of a Nationwide Hospitality Network

Following its establishment and the completion of the legal and financial arrangements concerning its transferred assets, ITTIC began developing a nationwide network of accommodation and catering facilities.

This initiative led to the formation of the Iran Touring and Tourism Hotels Group, bringing together hospitality properties in different regions of the country under a coordinated management structure.

With hotels and restaurants distributed across Iran, the company seeks to improve the accessibility, quality, and range of its hospitality services.

By drawing on experienced professionals, effective management practices, and continuous operational improvements, ITTIC aims to strengthen the performance of its tourism facilities and enhance the guest experience.

The company also seeks to promote Iran’s cultural heritage, historical attractions, and diverse tourism destinations while supporting the sustainable development of the tourism industry.

According to the company’s existing corporate profile, its hospitality network comprises 49 operating hotels and three restaurants.
